Prosthodontics

Prosthodontic treatment aims at permanent, cosmetic restorations and reconstructions of teeth. Dental losses should be restored as soon as possible to when they occur, so as to prevent harmful consequences to the masticatory system, such as, for example, further losses of teeth.

The accomplishments of modern prosthodontics provide a wide array of possible treatment methods to each individual case, such as (but not limited to):

• dental implants (also called endosteal fixtures),
• dentures,
• dental bridges,
• dental crowns.
